Arnie entered the show ring with a “Bang” winning Puppy in Show at the prestigious Adelaide Royal Show under Paola Dondina (Italy) in 2003. Titled with a Best in Show at 12 months and 2 days old, Arnold has been a consistent performer.

Reserve Challenge dog to his brother Freddy (Australian Champion Obsidion Fire Agate) under breed specialist Mr. Nigel Marsh (UK), Arnie is a consistent winner at both All Breeds and Specialty Shows.

Mr. Marsh (UK) said: “A fawn dog so well balanced, an excellent large head, lovely crest of neck leading to a short level top line, nice twist. A lovely colour and outline, lovely well defined wrinkle and excellent pigment on the head, large dark, round sparkling eyes, showed extremely well,"

Sven

Co - owned with Kylie Sunman

Sven was the first pug co-owned with Kylie Sunman of Voncronan Chihuahuas. A consummate performer Sven was a consistent group and Best in Show contender. Sadly Sven left us at only 5 years of age.

Max

Dam: Aust. Ch. Strictly Ballroom

 

Max was awarded Reserve Best Dog at the Victorian Pug Specialty under specialist judge Blanch Roberts (USA) from a massive entry of 209 dogs.

“A beautiful colour and a beautiful presence. Pretty eye and a good under jaw, nice tail set.” 2002 Specialty judge Blanche Roberts (USA)

Max is a multiple Specialty and Group winning dog - now retired.

 

 

Solo

Dam: Aust. Ch. Patrian Charisma

 

Solo was the first Obsidion bred pug to gain his Australian Grand Champion title (accumulating a minimum of 1000 cc’s). Obsidion campaigned pugs are still the only pugs in South Australia to hold the prestigious award.

A multiple Best in Show and Specialty Best in Show winning dog in his time, Solo is now retired. His show winning legacy carried on through his beautiful daughter, Australian Champion Obsidion Empress of China.

 

   

Shard

DOB  13th / 10 / 1994

Sire: Aust. Ch. Gailyn Pegasus

Dam: Obsidion Ice Magic

 

Shard is pictured winning Best Exhibit in the Toy Group in 1998 at the biggest show in South Australia, The Royal Adelaide Show. This was a first for Obsidion pugs but certainly not the last.

Now retired, Shard has was the sire of many champions, including South Australia's first Grand Champion Obsidion Chasing Shadows.
