I commenced in the sport of pure breed dog exhibition with pugs in 1984 and I am probably best known for my success with this breed. Recognised as one of the top breeder/exhibitors of pugs in Australia, I have bred multiple Best in Show and Specialty Best in Show winning dogs and bitches.

Obsidion pugs are currently being campaigned in New Zealand, Japan, Norway and Italy with many having attained their international titles with All Breeds and Speciality wins.

Throughout my canine career I have not only established a style of pug, but also a style of handling to complement the handler/dog association in the show arena. I have handled top winning dogs, including the multi BIS Ch Afghan Tahkira What the Hell (exp India), the Standard Poodle, BIS Aust. Grand Ch. Remkyn Analyze This and my home-bred basenjis, Aust. Ch. Obsidion The Huntsman and Aust. Ch. Obsidion The Firefly.

I am qualified to judge Junior Handler Competitions at any level and have judged these competitions both overseas and throughout Australia.

I commenced in the judges training scheme in 1992 and have received my qualifications to judge all toys, gundogs, hounds, working dogs, utility dogs and non sporting breeds at Championship show level. I have completed judging assignments in South Africa, New Zealand, New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.

As manager of Education Services for the Department of Environment and Heritage, I facilitate environmental learning opportunities for the community. I have supported the endeavours of the South Australian Canine Association Inc. in the promotion of pure breed dog competition and responsible pet ownership as member of the SACA Promotions and Education Committee.

I am delighted to be considered for a judging appointment with your club.
